Where I've Worked

Full Stack Software Engineer @ M&T Bank

August 2020 - Present
  • Led and participated in large scale agile projects by reviewing requirements, translated requirements into technical solutions, gathered information, wrote and developed code, conducted unit testing, communicated status and issues to stakeholders, troubleshot open issues and bug fixes, ensured on time delivery and handoff, and performed design and code reviews.
  • Implemented and optimized backend architecture and RESTful APIs in Java Spring Boot to deliver clientele data efficiently and with high resilience to both internal advisor teams and external client facing banking applications.
  • Designed and created sophisticated, reusable Angular components and services from design specifications utilizing HTML5, SCSS/CSS3, TypeScript/JavaScript, and bundled with Webpack for our wealth client banking applications.
  • Consumed RESTful APIs using the RxJS library and maintained state management with NGXS/Redux architecture.
  • Ensured web accessibility guidelines were properly followed and implemented, including WCAG 2.1 and ADA.
  • Leveraged Azure and Gitlab CI/CD pipelines, interfacing with Cypress end-to-end testing and Aqua scans to fix security issues early, and accelerate application deployment.
  • Supported the development and initial launch of our iOS and Android applications, interfacing with native app features, and released to respective app stores.
  • Maintained all OpenShift environments for internal and client facing applications, as well as diagnosed real time concerns using Dynatrace monitoring, resulting in minimal downtime.

This DNREC Video Game Project is a one-player top-down game where you play as a Steward and use different types of plantlife in order to maintain certain meters. This game was built with the intention of attracting more youth to working at estuaries
